Senior Chemical And Water Engineer
Jason Boyd joined QEP in August of 2014 as their corporate water engineer, with a focus on the recycling and treatment of produced water. His goal is to meet QEP's water demand for all completions activities while maximizing the use of recycled water through chemical and/or mechanical processes.
Prior to this, he was with Baker Hughes Upstream Chemicals. He worked with them both in the Haynesville and in the Eagle Ford, managing operations to provide chemical solutions to operators with various needs ranging from H2S scavenging to asset integrity. Jason also has experience in wireline operations from 9 years in that field at Schlumberger.
Jason graduated in 2001 from Texas Tech University with a BS in Chemical Engineering.
